Glagol-rific!

Do you wish you could see the Glagolitic alphabet? If you are reading CHRISTIANITY: THE FIRST THREE THOUSAND YEARS, you wish it so much! According to Diarmaid MacCulloch, that is one crazy alphabet! Or as he puts it, "to say the least idiosyncratic, with only surreal resemblances to any other alphabetic form in existence." Okay, MacCulloch! You're setting us up to be disappointed, but let's take an eager look at this wild Glagolitic alphabet of yours. One letter looks like an owl! I don't know! That's what I think!
