I brought my copy of Zola's THE DRINKING DEN over to
Off Square Books to trade in.
The ending just depressed me too much; I didn't want to look at the spine anymore. I noticed some ephemera nestled inside the book, including this scrap of paper given to me by a student
after I lectured on the subject of
Jerry Lewis at SCAD. I believe it represents the entirety of her notes. It's more than I could have hoped for, honestly.
