Getting ready to
go and watching an old movie called THE SHINING HOUR on TCM. It has all the trappings, plot points, and look of a screwball comedy (made the right year, too - 1938), but plays out more like a Douglas Sirk melodrama. And it features Margaret Sullavan (pictured), an actress we don't see enough of here at the old "blog." Just a friendly viewing suggestion as we walk out the door. Somebody let me know how it comes out!
