Owl Tweet

You know my owl theory. Well, Brian Z. tells me there is an owl in BRIGHTON ROCK. I read BRIGHTON ROCK many years ago, probably back when I was Brian Z.'s age, and do not remember the owl. Brian Z. used the "twitter" to tell me about the owl, and this is what the passage in question looks like when abbreviated for "twitter": "An owl cried w painful hunger swooping low over a filling station, into the headlights & out again, on furry& predatory wings"
