Somehow (but why?) I was surprised to come across a
STAR WARS reference in the work of
Cesar Aira. In THE SEAMSTRESS AND THE WIND he compares memory to "the hologram of the princess, in that movie, that the faithful
robot carried in his circuits
from galaxy to galaxy."
