It has occurred to me that Elvis Costello would sound great singing the Hayley Mills number "Let's Get Together" from THE PARENT TRAP. It even has that descending "Oh-oh-oh-oh" figure he often incorporates into his vocal stylings. I'm going to get John Currence to pull some strings on this one.
