For the archives: Phil sends in the cover of the Batman comic that seems to have inspired my favorite Donald Barthelme story. I say "seems" only out of extreme caution, because I have never read the comic book in question, but - SPOILER ALERT! - the cover does accurately represent the dramatic climax of Barthelme's piece in several key details.
