Beaches Forever

I just finished a 126-word story inspired by the film BEACHES. Thanks, BEACHES! I will never pooh-pooh you again! You did something to me, though not the thing I think you intended. My story is "high concept" and I am terrified that someone else may have chanced on the premise before me. But it's the sort of thing that is probably impossible to check - I can't even think of what phrase one might "google" in the service of such an endeavor - and besides, you can't worry about stuff like that if you are a "writer," or you will never get anything "done." That's today's tip for young "writers"!
